Following the presentations and discussions held during the ALEGRO 2018 Workshop (Oxford, UK, 26 March-29 March), CANDLE Synchrotron Research Institute has officially become a member of the European Network for Novel Accelerators EuroNNAc. The objective of ALEGRO Workshop is to prepare (by the end of 2018) an international roadmap and strategy of advanced novel accelerators for the European Strategy Group and ICFA.
Bringing together more than 50 institutes worldwide to unite the international efforts in advanced accelerator concepts, the EuroNNAc is part of the Accelerator Research and Innovation for European Science and Society ARIES (an Integrating Activity Project for coordinated Research and Development on Particle Accelerators), which is co-funded by the European Commission Program Horizon 2020.
