Center for the Advancement of Natural Discoveries using Light Emission

On November 8, within the framework of the “School in a scientific environment” project implemented by the Takhtajyan Institute of Botany with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia CANDLE SRI was visited by 6-8th grade students of the school N124.The program is aimed at generating interest in science among schoolchildren and gaining personal scientific experience.

During the visit, the researchers told the schoolchildren the history of the institute, presented ultra-high vacuum technologies, experimental biology, AREAL and DELTA experimental facilities, as well as the working principles of the accelerator.

Scientists noted that there was a lack of physicists, engineers, mechanics, and material scientists in the labor market to carry out large-scale scientific and educational activities, so such visits contribute to awakening love and interest in science subjects among schoolchildren.
