The potential applications of AREAL ultrafast electron beams and Cyclone (18 MeV proton beam), for the study of some space radiation biology problems, are presented in the paper of G. Khachatryan, et al., “The Modeling of Certain Problems of Space Biology in Earth Conditions”, published in the Biological Journal of Armenia, 2 (68), pp. 21-29, 2016 (http://biology.asj-oa.am/11275). Various biological aspects of irradiation experiments at accelerators under low temperature and ultra-high vacuum conditions are discussed in the paper. It prepares the ground for a long-term experimental program for the study of various radiation source impacts on microbiological objects under extreme conditions. The corresponding experimental tools and techniques are described.
