In the framework of the project “Development of natural anti-aging compounds”, the research group from the Institute of Molecular Biology (NAS RA) has conducted another experiment at the two-photon laser scanning microscopy station of DELTA laboratory. The protector effects of the protein gland extract from Helix Pomatia snails against H2O2 induced oxidative stress in human erythrocytes have been studied.
The images were obtained using a Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS)-sensitive fluorescent probe – chloromethyl-2′7′-dichlorofluorescein diacetate (CM-H2DCFDA)-AM with excitation wavelength of 750 nm and green emission at 525.
