On September 16, CANDLE Synchrotron Research Institute (CANDLE SRI) hosted a group of 9th- and 10th-grade students from Eurnekian Public School, accompanied by their teacher.
The main purpose of the visit was to introduce the students to the scientific research conducted at the Institute, particularly the activities of the Experimental Biology Laboratory and the modern scientific equipment used in its work.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to learn about the laboratory’s activities, its main research directions, as well as the structure, capabilities, and applications of the electron microscope.
The specialists explained the operating principles of the equipment and the significance of the research conducted with its help, enabling the students to gain an understanding of the application of advanced technologies in modern biological research.
The visit also provided the students with an opportunity to engage directly with the scientific and research environment and to ask questions of the specialists.
