Within the framework of the 10-28/22Eq-3 contract funded by the “Competition for the provision of financial support for the modernization of the infrastructure, material and technical base in the field of science” organized by the Committee of Higher Education and Science, CANDLE SRI purchased a HEXAGON Leitz Reference 5.4.3 machine.
The HEXAGON Leitz Reference 5.4.3 is a control-measuring machine (CMM) designed to determine geometric information about a product or object. Coordinate-measuring installations provide solutions to various metrological problems. These mechanisms make it possible to perform operational measurements of the geometric parameters of devices of various complexity.
CMM will be integrated with the Engineering Technology Department for measuring AREAL electron linac facility parts which is operated at CANDLE Synchrotron Research Institute. One of the main tasks of using CMM will be conducting measurements of the fabricated accelerator structures for the future upgrade of the AREAL accelerator.
