The State Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia (www.scs.am) has announced the call for proposals on the experimental research at the Advanced Research Electron Accelerator Laboratory (AREAL) of the CANDLE Synchrotron Research Institute in the fields of “Natural sciences” and “Engineering and Technology”.
The main experimental setups comprise:
- AREAL 5 MeV laser driven electron accelerator
- DELTA laser scanning microscopy station
- DELTA laser driven micro fabrication station
The research fields cover accelerator and beam technology, radiation physics, life material and environmental sciences, nanoscience and nanotechnology and ultrafast sciences.
The experimental techniques include electron diffraction, pump-probe experiments, time-resolved experiments, pulsed radiolysis, two-photon microscopy and three-dimensional micro fabrications.
