The installation of the new multi-bunch module is started for the AREAL laser system. The installation and measurement activities are performed by representative of the French “Amplitude Systemes” Mr. Vinsent Clet, Dr. Arsham Yeremyan, CANDLE SRI and Mr. Hrachia Toneyan, MA student of the Yerevan State University.
This new module will provide generation of the multi-bunch electron beam operation mode for the AREAL facility. The 50 MHz time structure of the multi-bunch mode will contain 16 bunches with 30 pC charge per bunch. It is an important step forward in the advancement of future experiments on new acceleration methods, new radiation sources and time resolved experiments at the AREAL facility.
