The aluminum prototype of the new deflecting cavity for ultrashort bunch length measurements has successfully been completed at CANDLE workshop. After the mechanical and radio-frequency measurements at DESY, the copper deflecting cavity will be fabricated. The new deflecting cavity, being developed in cooperation with DESY (Hamburg, Germany), Institute for Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Troitsk, Russia) and CANDLE SRI specialists, is an important stage towards the ultrashort bunch monitoring in femto and attoseconds time range for future ultrafast experiments at REGAE and AREAL.
