On May 27, Armen Grigoryan has successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled “The Study of Resonant Accelerating Structure with Single-mode Slowly Propagating Wave” at the 024 Professional Council of the Yerevan Physics Institute. Under the direct supervision of Prof. V. Tsakanov, the study was conducted at the CANDLE Synchrotron Research Institute and the Yerevan State University. Within the frames of the study, it is also foreseen to conduct a principle proof experiment of the new single mode structure at the Advanced Research Electron Accelerator Laboratory (AREAL) test facility.
