A new modern Planetary Mill PULVERISETTE 6 has been obtained from FRITSCH Company. The experimental possibilities of the pulverisette will widely be used in the fields of Materials Science, Micro-/Nano- Science, other scientific disciplines and will enlarge the study capabilities of the laboratory of Advanced Materials and Micro devices at CANDLE Institute.
In order to make dense ceramic structures and devices with desired properties for accelerator applications, it is required to prepare homogenous powder of grain sizes (about 0.1- 5 um).
The Planetary Mill PULVERISETTE 6 is a high-performing mill with high-energy effect of up to 650 rpm and particularly easy to be used. This ensures a constantly high grinding performance with extremely low space requirements for loss-free grinding results in order to comminute hard, medium-hard, brittle and moist materials. Moreover, the PULVERISETTE 6 classic line ideally suits for mechanical alloying or for mixing emulsions and pastes.
