Within the framework of scientific and educational visits, CANDLE SRI hosted the 9th-grade pupils of Abovyan Basic School N 5 Named after N. Vanyan on May 13th, 2022. During the tour, the pupils got acquainted with the history of the institute, the research activities of the laboratories of magnetic measurements, electron-scanning microscope, ultrahigh vacuum technologies, experimental biology, etc. The pupils also visited the AREAL electron accelerator complex and DELTA laboratory with the experimental stations of two-photon microscopy and microfabrication where they were introduced to the main working principles of lasers and accelerators.
