A two-day excursion was organized for over 30 students of Yerevan Basic School N174. Since the students were very much interested in the basics of physics and not only, firstly, a short introduction was given on the whole concept of light sources, their role in our daily life, etc. Later, our young researchers hosted our visitors in the laboratories of magnetic measurements, vacuum technologies, experimental biology, microdevices and the experimental stations of microfabrication and microscopy. The students were explained the working principles of electron accelerators, lasers and the spheres of their application.
