The first and third year bachelor and first year master students of YSU Physics Faculty visited CANDLE SRI. They were introduced the CANDLE project of third generation synchrotron light source for fundamental, industrial and applied research in biology, physics, chemistry, medicine, materials and environmental sciences. Later they got acquainted with DELTA laboratory two laser driven microfabrication and microscopy stations and the AREAL RF gun based electron linear accelerator aiming to produce small emittance ultra-short electron beam pulses for advanced experimental study in the fields of novel accelerator concepts, new coherent radiation sources and etc. At the end of the study tour the near and future experimental highlights of CANDLE Institute were represented and discussed.
