On 16-18 July 2013, meeting of the AREAL facility International Advisory Committee headed by Dr. Terence Garvey (PSI) was held at the CANDLE Institute. The program of the meeting included presentations, reports and discussions on the status of the project and scheduled milestones. All the major systems of the facility, particularly RF, laser, vacuum and control have been reviewed. Special session was devoted to the experimental program on the AREAL and the CANDLE Institute nearest and long-term scientific highlights.
