On May 26, Tigran Vardanyan has successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled “The Study of Wiggler and Undulator Radiation Effects in Electron Accelerators” at the 024 Professional Council of the Yerevan Physics Institute. Under the scientific supervision of Prof. V. Tsakanov, the study was conducted at the Yerevan State University and CANDLE Synchrotron Research Institute. The thesis is devoted to the study of damping wiggler effects on emittance reduction in CANDLE storage ring, generation of THz coherent radiation at the AREAL facility and the peculiarities of undulator radiation in waveguides.
