Within the framework of the “8th Eastern Partnership Informal Ministerial Meeting in Armenia”, held on 17-18 November 2016, the scientific and educational ministerial delegations from Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine visited CANDLE SRI. An introductory tour was organized to the laser driven AREAL and DELTA laboratories. The status and ongoing experimental activities at these facilities were presented. Prof. A. N. Osipov (Russian Federal Center for Medical Biophysics) presented the recent results of experimental studies at AREAL facility, obtained by an international team of biologists. The highlights for international cooperation on the project “AREAL for ultrafast life and materials sciences” within the framework of HORIZON2020 were discussed.
