A preliminary experiment on cancer injured human lung cells (A549) X-Ray irradiation was performed at CANDLE using a new arrived MultiRAD 350 unit from PRECISION Company. The cells were irradiated with different fluxes for doses of 2 and 8 Gray. The experiment was aimed to determine the optimal regimes of irradiation and IC50 (inhibitory concentration), which is a condition when inhibitors suppress 50% of biological activities of cancer cells. Obtained results will be used for establishing further experiments set.
