On the 4th of March the participants of the 3rd International Advanced School “Frontiers in Optics & Photonics” together with Anna S. Kotanjyan (Senior Researcher, Laboratory of Theoretical Physics, Faculty of Physics of Yerevan State University) had a study visit to CANDLE Synchrotron Research Institute. The students were introduced CANDLE synchrotron light source project, had a lab tour to the laser driven microscopy and microfabrication stations of DELTA laboratory and got acquainted with AREAL laser driven RF photogun based linear accelerator. The current experimental programs and main working applications of the facilities were represented to FOP members.
