Today, September 2, we mark the birthday of the co-founder of the “CANDLE” Synchrotron Research Institute, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Vasiliy Tsakanov. He would have been 63 years old. V. Tsakanov’s contribution to the creation, development and establishment of the “CANDLE” Institute is invaluable. Thanks to his efforts, the institute has become one of the international high-ranking scientific organizations, where many gifted young scientists build their scientific paths.
