On May 12, during the regular meeting of CANDLE Board of Trustees, the election and the appointment of CANDLE SRI Director was held.
The Deputy Director on Accelerator Department of CANDLE Institute Dr. Bagrat Grigoryan applied for the previously announced open position for director.
After reviewing the development plan and the vision of the Institute presented by Bagrat Grigoryan, the Board of Trustees unanimously approved Bagrat Grigoryan’s candidacy for the position of the Director of CANDLE Institute.
B. Grigoryan is one of the persons to have a considerable contribution to the establishment of the Institute, he has more than 20 years of experience in the field of accelerator physics, has solid experience in management and communication with state and international scientific institutions and enjoys the respect of the staff.
CANDLE team warmly congratulates Bagrat Grigoryan, wishes him fruitful work which will ensure the sustainable development of the Institute and will lead to the implementation of long-term programs.
