Copper Cavity for Ultrafast Sciences

After prototype testing, the high precision copper deflecting cavity for ultrashort bunch measurements has successfully been completed at CANDLE SRI. The new deflecting cavity, being developed in cooperation with DESY (Hamburg, Germany), Institute for Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Troitsk, Russia) and CANDLE Institute, is an important stage towards ultrashort bunch monitoring in femto and attosecond time range for future ultrafast experiments.
