On the 22nd of May the students of RAU had a scientific visit to CANDLE Institute with the aim of gaining deeper knowledge and understanding of accelerator physics and technology. The students were introduced the main labs and experimental stations of microfabrication and two-photon scanning microscopy, the upgrade program of AREAL electron linear accelerator (beam energy up to 50 MeV, Free Electron Laser, etc.) and long-term experimental program of the Institute.
